San Francisco Christmas Guide › San Francisco Christmas Shows 2026
More than 150 young singers, ages five to eighteen, take the stage at the historic Calvin Simmons Theater in Oakland for this afternoon holiday concert. All six youth ensembles perform: the OYC Miracles, Songbirds, Concert Chorus, and Chamber Chorus, plus the OIGC Youth and Kids choirs.
It's a festive, uplifting celebration of seasonal music, with every ensemble of the combined youth program on one stage. That makes it a natural fit for families and fans of youth choral music, and for anyone with a singer in the lineup.
Want to make a day of it? The Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir's 41st Annual Holiday Concert, “Scoopin' Up Joy,” is that evening at the same theater, with the full OIGC ensemble plus the Youth and Community choirs. OIGC also lets you donate a ticket so someone who might not otherwise have the chance can attend a performance.
