Kung Pao Kosher Comedy is Jewish stand-up on Christmas, staged inside a Chinese restaurant: the Imperial Palace Restaurant in San Francisco. Creator and MC Lisa Geduldig hosts, with sets from Carol Leifer, Scott Blakeman, and Ariel Elias.
Pick your format. The early Dinner Show comes with a six-course dinner served before the comedy, and the later Cocktail Show comes with dim sum, potstickers, and egg rolls. Either way, the food comes with the comedy. Can't make it in person? Virtual tickets let you stream the early show or the Cocktail Show live, or watch later.
Part of the proceeds goes to the Chinatown YMCA Food Support Programs and the Jewish Family and Community Services (JFCS) Food Bank. Masks aren't required, but you're welcome to wear one. If you get sick before the show, stay home; the box office can switch an in-person ticket to a livestream ticket.
