Where Curran Theatre, 445 Geary St, San Francisco, 94102, United States
At the Curran Theatre, drag legends Coco Peru, Matthew Martin, D'Arcy Drollinger, and Holotta Tymes star as Dorothy, Blanche, Rose, and Sophia in The Golden Girls Live: The Christmas Episodes, presented by BroadwaySF. D'Arcy Drollinger also directs, with Manuel Caneri and Michael Phillis in the cast and Tom Shaw on piano.
This season's holiday-spirited parodies are "Family Affair," where Rose's daughter Bridget and Dorothy's son Michael find they have more in common than expected, and "Big Daddy's Little Lady," where Big Daddy announces he's getting married while Dorothy and Rose try to win a songwriting contest.
The show runs about 2 hours and 15 minutes with one intermission, and the Curran has on-site bars with snacks, wine, beer, and cocktails. All ages are welcome, but children under 5 aren't allowed. VIP tickets add a post-show meet and greet and photo with the cast.
