For two weeks each holiday season, the Walnut Creek Historical Society fills the historic house at Shadelands Ranch with its Holiday Faire, a Walnut Creek holiday tradition. Dozens of vendors offer gifts of every description, and the rooms overflow with handcrafted items.
Meander from room to room and shop as you go. Holiday Teas are booked separately and need a reservation; there are sittings every day, plus Champagne Teas on select Saturdays. Tickets for the teas are sold by phone at 925-935-7871, so call ahead if tea is part of the plan.
