Children's Fairyland in Oakland hands the park over to the grownups for Twas the Night, an adults-only holiday party. Everyone must be 21 or older, with a valid 21+ ID to get in.
Wander an open-air night market, dance beneath the Fairy Winterland lights, and catch live performances by Bay Area musical talent. Food and drinks are a big part of the night. Dress up in your most festive outfit or your ugliest holiday sweater, since dressing up is part of the fun.
For drop-off, pull onto Bellevue Ave. and look for the drop-off zone on the right past the parking kiosk, then follow the paved path up to the main entrance. The City of Oakland runs paid parking at the park. Finally, a night at Fairyland where nobody needs a nap.
