Historic Downtown Vallejo hosts the Mad Hatter Holiday Festival & Parade, a Vallejo tradition that brings together a festival, a parade, and a tree lighting. Hyperion Community Partners produces it in partnership with the City of Vallejo.
The festival activities include dancing horses, craft and food vendors, and children's rides. Watch the Mad Hatter Parade wind through downtown, then head to the JFK Library for the tree lighting ceremony. Stick around into the evening, when boats join in with a lighted boat parade.
It's open to all ages and a natural fit for families with young children and holiday parade fans. Anyone hoping to vend, sponsor, or volunteer can contact Michael Bauman at (925) 451-7682.
