San Francisco Christmas Guide › San Francisco Christmas Activities 2026
Winter on Solano Avenue stretches a one-mile community celebration across Albany and Berkeley, put on by the Solano Avenue Association. The Albany Jazz Big Band and the Berkeley Community Chamber Singers play Peralta Park (1559 Solano), and Santa is at 1758 Solano.
The Kids Fun Zone at 1830 Solano has free face-painting by Laura L. and the Solcar Choo Choo Train, and The Big Bubble People perform at 1820 Solano. In between, browse local shops, restaurants, and booths from visiting artisans and makers. A mile of shops makes it a handy spot to cross a few names off your gift list.
It's free and goes ahead rain or shine. Portable restrooms are on Colusa south of Solano next to Andronico's, on Santa Fe by Fazli's Rugs, and at the northwest corner of Evelyn.
