San Francisco Christmas Guide › San Francisco Christmas Activities 2026
In Martinez, Congregation B'nai Shalom and Downtown Martinez & Co. present an annual Hanukkah celebration at the Main Street Plaza. The menorah is lit in the traditional way every evening at dusk throughout the celebration.
One night adds a bigger community gathering, with music, family fun, and sufganiyah. Come for that one if you can, and drop by on other evenings for the lighting itself.
It's open to all ages and made for families and local community members. The lighting happens at dusk, so plan to arrive a little before sundown and stay to watch the candles lit. Downtown Martinez is right there if you want to make an evening of it afterward.
